We are looking for Quantity Surveying Manager (EPC Oil & Gas) in Jubail, Saudi Arabia Client profile: provides services for Inspection, Project Management and Consulting to enable clients to improve operating efficiency as well as for specific projects, whether prior to commissioning, in full production, inspecting for faults or damage, for plant decommissioning, dismantling or rebuilding. Job Role: Comply with the companies and clients Safety Policies, Rules and Regulations. Verifying contract documents, including bill of quantities & bill of materials Reviewing cost analysis for on going repair & maintenance project work. Additional job recording & obtaining client approval for invoicing. Assisting in establishing clients requirements and performing feasibility studies. Preparing early stage budget and detailed cost plans. Managing costs on a wide variety of new projects. Prepare overall summary sheet for Project Quantities. Verifying requisition for purchase items based on bill of quantity. Confirm that the cost does not exceed budget parameters. Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed project reports. Prepares in close coordination and cooperation with Reviews and approves after discussion with concerned project managers/Senior engineers, request or claim for cost estimation submitted to Client as a result of variation. Managing the process of measurement and costing for variation claims Prepare notification letters and detail particular of variation claims Identify, assess and resolve financial and contractual risks for the project Attending monthly progress meetings Work in close cooperation with the OPS, ORP, CED and Finance Departments. Coordinate with the Site Project Manager/leader/supervisor/Project team and client representative. Coordinate with the Finance department for client invoicing. Prepare a financial close-out report for the projects. Daily review of all projects Requirements: English Must be your first Language Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 8 to 10 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator in Oil & Gas, Refineries/Petrochemical Industries of which 3 years should be in management position. Ability to organize and manage the department professionally & effectively. A self motivated and dynamic person with strong analytical, negotiation as well as communication skills. Proficient in English Language (verbal and written communication skills) with knowledge of International Contracts subtlety, intricacies, and associated implications. Work in accordance to company's standards rules and regulation & ISO 9001-2000 Standard Fluency in MS Project, plus overall knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). General understanding of Oil & Gas Industrial Services including construction, maintenance, shutdowns Management of project measurement, costing, claims and verification of project completion.
