Receptionist

Jumeirah operates some of the world's most impressive hotel and leisure facilities including the award winning Emirates Towers Hotel, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Burj Al Arab and Wild Wadi Water Park.

As the result of continuing company growth and extended service, we now seek Receptionists.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring all the guests and visitors receive an optimum level of service at all times.

Your job profile will include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Check the arrival list of our guests for the following day and ensure that all the departments are informed via daily "VIP In House" list.
• Update and maintain accurate guest profiles and history records including the details of guests information received from other properties or departments.
• Ensure that all the relevant departments are advised on the guests history, requests and preferences prior to their arrival.
• Conduct daily "Courtesy Calls" by telephone or personally.
• Be visible and available to our in-house guests by maintaining regular contact and obtaining feedback on the property facilities and its services.
• Maximize the sales opportunities by up-selling and promoting the property and Jumeirah International's outlets by briefing about its facilities.

Requirements:
The ideal applicant will be:
• An energetic and committed person to all the request and needs of our guest.
• Should have a friendly approach and able to handle all types of guests.
• Must be willing to work in different shifts allotted by the management.
• Required to be patient and handle guests with care.
• You must be able to contribute efficiently and keep up to the excellent standards of the property
• Should be proficient, efficient, diplomatic and solving problems in all situations and will have creative ideas to operate the department more effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications / Educations

The successful applicant will be a School level certificate holder. Ideally you will have:
• An experience of 2 years in a similar role within a Five star hotel environment.
• Preference may be given to applicants with Gulf region work experience.

The applicant must be proficient in:
• Written and spoken English.
• Preference may be given to applicants with additional knowledge in Arabic, Russian and German.
• You are required to be a computer literate with at least MS Office skills
